Addictions Counseling
| Peggy Tana is trained and licensed as an alcohol and drug counselor. In her experience the addictions field is much broader than addiction to substance use. A person who has a drug or alcohol addiction will often have other underlying symptoms such as anxiety or depression. In many cases there is also a history of trauma or abuse. Effectively treating an addiction requires a comprehensive approach which addresses both the substance use and the underlying mental health symptoms. |
